I had the opportunity to meet Hillary last night in Seattle. We spoke for several minutes last night before her moving speech at Rainer Beach High School. Me, Hillary and the principal from Rainer Beach… and and several secret service agents. We talked about equality and justice, my dads, the environment, manufacturing jobs, etc. She thanked me for my leadership on LGBTQ issues and joked (partially) with me that I needed to do my job and fully fund his work – pointing at the principal.
I had no idea however that she would next give me a shout out… (in the first minute of speech below)
Her full speech last night was powerful. I know many of us remain divided regarding our candidate for POTUS. Regardless of who you support, take the time to listen to the speech below from last night.
“It is easy to say what you’re against. Lets talk about what we’re for. Lets talk about all the people we’re for. All the people we want to help and all the differences we want to make.” – HRC
